Apple Sauce

DIY Natural Apple Skin Peel

What is it?

Apples contain fruit acids that are called Alpha Hydroxy Acids(AHA). These acids exhibit natural ability to excellently exfoliate cells, accelerate cell renewal, stimulate cell metabolism, synthesis of collagen, elastin and other components, change acidity of the skin, influence process of skin keratinization.

Why does it work?

When used in higher concentration levels above 20%, These acids are able to act not only on the upper layer of the skin, but also penetrate into its deeper layer. It is one of the main anti-aging methods to prolong the youth of our skin, stimulate the removal of epidermis and helps get rid of dead cells.

Multiple application of fruit acids enhances exfoliation of dead layers of skin which means that it can eliminate some skin defects such as redness, roughness, acne and spots due to acne. Fruit acids are able to induce swelling of skin cells & inter-cellular substance, thus increasing its elasticity and reducing visible wrinkles.

How to Use It?

Either you can use fresh cut slices of the fruit and rub it directly on your skin and rinse or you could try out this easy DIY Natural Skin Peel. I tried it and liked it very much.
